Have I told you that Purple was the most amazing color? So guess what's in now? PURPLE LIPSTICK! I'm not too literate on the beauty department but I know some stuff and I love lipstick. Just yesterday I was talking to my friend about being bold and trying on the purple lipstick to go out to a party or just a plain regular day. She told me to go for it and so now my infactuation with purple lipstick begins.

So now it's everywhere. I was going thru some blogs today and I saw Alicia Keys shooting a video for her new song "Try Sleeping With a Broken Heart"

Then I see Letoya Luckett also shooting a video for her new song "Regret" which I love.

With this being such a bring and bold color, I noticed that you must have a plain neutral color such as gold, grey, light brown or nude. Top it with a little eyeliner and you're good to go. If you were also thinking about trying it you can find it at any beauty stores. I would advise to go to Mac Cosmetics because they are the best and they have the Hello Kitty collection which has the purple lipstick/gloss

And have you noticed that everything around now is about vampires? E.I. "Vampires Diaries" on CW. Twilight started and they are just ruining with it, pretty annoying. To me at least. I don't watch the show, it's probably good tho but I am boycotting it.

I'm not doing anything for Halloween this year and I really don't know why. I wanted to be a playboy bunny actually. Yes that's right a playboy bunny. I would've had me and all my friends who would be celebrating with me as bunnies. That would've been so awesome. There's always next year!

Sweet November

This November will be very great. Why you ask?
The first week of November is good music week.
We got my future husband Ryan Leslie coming out with his second album.
My new 'if I was gay' girlfriend Melanie Fiona coming out with her first album.
And my old hot baby mama Amerie coming out with her third album.
Oh how the music industry is going to get my money that week.

But let's talk Ryan Leslie.
I'm sure if you guys know but I absolutely adore this man. I finally saw the Rising Icons episode! You can see me a little but the video is not that clear :/

P.S. Why did I just realized that Melanie Fiona is going to be the opening act for him at Nokia Theater on the 6th? More reasons for me TO GO !

Guess who loves Art? Look of the day

I absolutely adore June Ambrose, I follow her on twitter and she's just so entertaining. Tell us fashion heads what's "haute" and what's not. Give fashion tips and fashion horoscope. Alexander McQueen = Art

Have we established that Alexander McQueen is a genius? His Spring '10 collection is all about the underworld/alien/weird and artistic. This shows you the real meaning when we say that Fashion is ART. The shapes, the forms, the details are just what made this entire collection so beautiful.

And not to mention the shoes, which apparently are 10-inches! Now I would want to be in those model's shoes literally just for that moment for two reasons:

1. So that I can be tall [probably be like 5'11 with those.. hehehe]

2. See how it feels to walk in those heels.

What I am feeling .

So we all heard the new Rihanna and Chris Brown song's . [*rolls eyes* Whatever] But have you heard the new Omarion song? I LOVE IT ! It's called "I get it in" . Now when it was first leaked Lil Wayne was featured in it but now just seen a preview of the video and it says Gucci Mane is now featured. Maybe it has something to do with him not being with Young Money anymore.

Nail art .

Haven't done a post about my nails for a while, so here's what I'm rocking this week. I'm not really a big fan of pink, wore it before but not my favorite. I actually did my own nails like that by myself but it started chipping and looking bad so I went to the nail salon got it fix and voila !

But then earlier I went to my fellow blogger's blog urbane-diary.blogspot.com and saw the recent post she did about her nails and totally loved it. So going to be my next design.

I've seen Solange with the same thing on Oprah & if you are following her on twitter she twitpic'ed a pic with her nails.

Just random thoughts

Couple weeks ago, I got my monthly subscription of Essence magazine. I thought they weren't going to send it because they want me to renew my subscription and I want to try a different magazine. I was upset knowing that Nia Long was on the cover like Essence wanted to wait till I decided to not renew to have this issue but nonetheless I got it and I'm happy. While reading the magazine the other day, I noticed this old glamour spread with this beautiful model and I thought "This girl looks like Amerie".

Come to find out it was Amerie!

I am very happy that she's coming out with another album on November 3rd, although I didn't get her previous albums but I've heard it and they were pretty good. I feel as if this is going to be another album that everyone is going to sleep on.
I've heard couple of tracks and I absolutely love them. She has this DC thing with the drums, haven't heard any ballads but the ones I've heard made me want to dance! And that's all I want. Something I can dance to.

P.S. I think the other pictures are more pretty but these are the only ones I found online, will upload the other ones from my magazine later.

Moschino Spring '10

I am loving Moschino Spring collection. The highlight of the line, the cropped chain leather jacket. So great! The line gives me a little bad ass mixed e.i. leather jackets, dark colors and sunglasses with a sweet girl e.i. colors, leather jackets with flowers and cherry dresses. Another thing that stood out to me was the accessories. The shoes and the necklaces really added something to the clothes that made them really pop and you could notice everything, from head to toes.

Gaga over GaGa

At first I thought maybe there's something wrong with this girl and the weird outfits. Then she continues and it just got weirder and weirder, I'm not even sure if "weirder" is an actual word but Lady Gaga is a weird chick. But we can't help but to love her, she gives us good entertainment and something to talk about it. Supposedly she has an obsession with Hello Kitty and did a photo shoot, here's the outcome:

If you don't know who she is, Melody is an accessories and shoes designer. We've seen a lot of celebrities wearing her jewelry such as Rihanna, Angela Simmons, Ciara and Keri Hilson. Her new line is awesome, I'm so definitely getting me some Melody. Check out her website here

Marc Bouwer

Adding to my favorite designers list is Marc Bouwer. He worked with a lot of celebrities such as Angelina Jolie, Mariah Carey, Oprah and Sarah Jessica Parker. His pieces are very glamour like and red carpet ready. But his Spring '10 line to me looks more of an 80's glamour with big sleeves, ruffles shirt, off the shoulder and shiny and sparkling pieces. Marc is known for not using animal skin and products in his designs. His Spring '10 line is amazing you guys are going to fall in love just like I did.
