Nu Pop Vs. G-Shock watch

When I was younger, watches were my favorite accessories. Then I grew up, got a phone and didn't see the need of a watch because well the phone had the time. But you can't always depend on the phone, so recently I've been wanting to get couple of watches. I was looking at the G-shock watches which are very popular now but recently Jermaine Dupri collaborate with jewelry designer Pascal Mouawad and launched this brand new watch line called Nu Pop Movement. It is very stylish, funky and very different then the other watches I've seen. But since they are new, they do not have as much varieties as G-Shock does. Either way I like both of the lines, you guys can add them on your Christmas list or purchase it for someone who loves watches.

Love Come Down !

I don't remember if I said this before but I have this love/hate thing with this new Diddy group "Dirty Money". I feel as if he's taking advantage of Dawn's talent cause she's just so amazing! But anyway I didn't like the first single "Angels" but "Love Come Down" is my ishhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh! So they finally came out with a video for it and I am loving it. It has this 90's feel to it, think Diddy and Mase with a futuristic vibe. The light effects are great. I think that these outfit should've been way better. But that's just my opinion. So enjoy the video and let me know what you think. :)

P.S. Where is Diddy going with the bottom grillz?

Yele Haiti Boots: Timberland Earthkeepers

Just sitting here posting, I was talking to one of my friends and she told me about this Yele Haiti Boots. For some of you who don't know I am Haitian, born and raised there so anything to help Haiti I support it!

Here's what it is basically:

"To help promote reforestation in Haiti and protect the environment, Timberland and Wyclef Jean have teamed up to create the Yéle Haiti Playlist With A Purpose. Just add this reforestation remix to your favorites and imeem will make a donation to Wyclef’s Yéle Haiti Vert program, a grassroots movement promoting reforestation in Haiti.

And if you really want to make a difference, check out another Timberland & Wyclef collaboration: the Yéle Haiti Earthkeepers TM Collection. Made from recycled materials, this eco-conscious footwear offers a fresh perspective on a classically hip style. And for every pair of Yéle Haiti Earthkeepers TM sold, $2 will go to Wyclef’s foundation to support reforestation."

Here's the boots, they kind of look like combat boots. Sort of, kind of nice this could be a perfect Christmas present maybe ladies for your fellas, brothers, dads. There's only 2 styles for females which are the first 2 in the first picture

In other news

I got 2 out of 3 albums that I was looking forward to. Apparently when I went to buy all 3 last week, only those 2 came out. Melanie Fiona's came out this Tuesday. I will get it as soon as I have time this weekend maybe even today. One of my friend brought and she's totally in love. GO MELANIE !

So here's what I think, as much as I love Ryan Leslie with all my heart, the first album was so better then this one. Don't get me wrong I like this album but I love the first one better. I have 2 favorites so far which are "Guardian Angel" and "Zodiac".

Now this is my first time buying an Amerie album and surprisingly it is very good. I can't compare it to any of the previous work that she's done but I really really like it. She have some good ballads and good songs that you can dance to. Also those songs that you can completely relate to. I think this album is really good, every girl should have it in their playlist. You will love it!

Support the artists!

How I did it

It's been a week and school has been kicking my butt. Lots of homework, papers and I'm procrastinating, watching TV on FB and Twitter. No good. But I'm just here for a little bit then off to finish my HW, I'll be back as soon as I'm done !

So a week ago I told you guys how much I was loving the purple lipstick trend and wanted to try it. On Friday, me and my girls went out for my dear friend Stephanie's birthday and we had a BLAST! Three words: Limo, bottles & good music. Wait is that four words? Anyway so I brought the purple lipstick from Sephora: ILLAMASQUA is the brand and it's called Fierce (in Tyra voice)

And this my end result which I absolutely loved!

I am wearing:
-H&M racer back tank top.
-My friend Melissa's line-LeMichou skirt.
-F21 necklace

One third of my inspiration came from Letoya Luckett so check out the new video for "Regret" and how she rocked the purple lipstick

Rihanna is speaking out

You know that is my best friend in my head, and the things she went thru back in February was the highlight of the entertainment industry. Everyone wanted to know what happened but none of them were speaking out. Now both of their album are coming out they are speaking out. Of course in my mind that is show business for you, they want their album to sell. But then again if you look at it in this way, they have to take time to heal. Chris had to work on some things, and Rihanna had to also. Who knows she might be in therapy right now. Who knows what they went thru emotionally after the incident. I wasn't going to post this but after watching it I wanted to share it with some of you that may not have seen it.

& you can tell that she was about to cry and still hurt
