Mixed Prints/Patterns

Today is the OFFICIAL first day of Summer. Finally! One of my favorite trends for this Spring/Summer is mixed prints.

I've been watching and also been scared to even try this trend. You must be very bold to wear this style because it is very tricky and daring. Personally, I would say this trend has no rules, you must go and have fun mixing patterns and prints. But if you don't want to try it and look like a fashion disaster here are some tips that I've noticed that can help you achieve the mixed print/pattern look without looking like a hot mess.

1. Mix similar patterns/colors

2. Make sure there's at least one or two color that repeats itself in each piece

3. Mix a small print with a bold bigger print

4. One of the easier way is by using an accessory to do the work.

Hot N Fun

I love N.E.R.D! Not only because of how hot Pharrell is but they are actually pretty dope. They recently premiered their video "Hot N Fun" and I can't stop listening to it! This is my favorite song right now. Enjoy :)

Dsquared2 Fall 2010/2011

Ever since Alicia Keys gave us a sneak peek at those Dsquared2 platform pumps the internet has been going crazy for their Fall collection 2010/2011.

One of the benefits of being a celebrity, you get to rock all the hottest shoes and clothes beforehand. This collection won't be available till August. I would just loove to put my feet into these shoes! Specially those thigh high boots. Haute!

Summer Summer Summer Time

Perfect day to come back from hiatus, Drake's album is finally out! I was one of the people who downloaded when the album leaked I admit it but I am definitely going to support and purchase the album. My opinion on it -- I like it, good music. The only thing I just wish that he wasn't singing so much. I agree with everyone his mixtapes and "So Far Gone" are better then "Thank Me Later".

Today, he's having a FREE concert at South Seaport and I JUST remembered.
I'm debating whether to go or not. Free concerts in the summer time always frightens me
