Brooklyn Fashion Weekend

Last weekend I went to the Brooklyn Underground Fashion Weekend, as you can tell is where all the underground designers, artists meet and showcase! I was super-exited! All the clothes was couture! couture! couture! Had couple of my buddies modeling in the show so I was also there to support. I only attended the first show on Friday and which I snapped couple of pictures.. they not so great but I'll just show you the good ones later on. From the fitted hats and beanies down to the fresh kicks, its the life. Well to some of us it is, to others they wonder why we are so obsessed with it. They ask questions like why would you stand on line overnight to buy a pair of kicks when you can just go to foot locker during the day. That's it right there, we do not want to live the normal life. We rather live on the edge instead of playing it safe. It is an unique culture that anybody can try to live but only so few survive. Those that fail worry about their reputation. Hennes & Mauritz also known as H&M has brought Cheap Monday jeans maker, this is owned by a Swedish fashion company and the deal cost about $92 million (gasps). Cheap Monday is a very popular jean company that you might have seen in stores such as Urban Outfitters.. hmm wonder how the company feel about this? I want to see how they would make the jeans now cause I definitely don't like how the regular H&M jeans fit on my derriere....

So I was visiting my girl Merlyndia at Merlyndia.com and I watched this video.. and umm it was extremely hilarious so I wanted to share it with you guys.. shaking my head I love Dru Hill but danng trying to make a comeback? I don't know...

Did you know?

Finally the movie for Notorious B.I.G seems as if its going to be in productions. I know they did the nationwide search for someone to play the lead so now after all Jamal Woolard (which is also a rapper by the name of Gravy =/ ) will be playing B.I.G. Personally I don't really think he looks like him but maybe with the makeup and everything he might pass.




And Angela Bassett will be playing Biggie's mom, Voletta Wallace.
