What I wore to my job's Holiday party



Got this dress at my new fav vintage store in Astoria. I still don't know if I want to tell you guys about my spot. But thanks to my friend Tamara for bringing me there! The top part wasn't exactly like that, I had to beg my mom to sew it so it can stand & stay like that. But I looooooved my dress! & of course I got sick after, nose was stuffy & all but it wasn't anything big thank God.

The magazine finally came out like couple days before the party and I love it! I kinda worked hard in that issue, have a review about this play, a poem and I did this layout for gifts ideas for him and her, and let's not forget the fashion part. Rain in Vain

Just when I thought all the colors
would’ve shown
Just when I thought the rainbow
would’ve came out after the rain
I died
I died ‘cause it kept pouring
& I had no umbrella
No raincoat, no poncho,
no rain boots
I drowned
We’ve been going through this bad
weather for over a year
And it just won’t stop!
Until yesterday
Yesterday the moon came out
I saw your face, your smile
I touched your body,
hugged you so tight
& then I let go..
So it started to pour all over again
& I am standing in the rain
Waiting for the moon, the sun or
the rainbow to revive me

So over it!

Yesterday was a BIG shoot for the magazine.. The Fall Fashion Photoshoot! It started about 12'ish PM and I've done photoshoots before but I think being behind the scene was super fun, very tiring but it was fun! I took tons of pictures so much and so random that I can't show you all of it (probably will get boring after a while lol) Enjoy.

FAME, Accessories, MODA show

So Monday was the day I went to my fashion event with my boss. It was totally the opposite of what I thought it would be. I expected a runway with models, with designers the whole shindig but I got something better.. a HUGE closet! Basically this was an Exhibition, designers were showcasing their accessories, bags, shoes, clothes, everything. It was so amazing.. This is how it looked from the Press Room ..



That was just HALF of the first room which was the Accessories Exhibition. Can you imagine the rest of it? There was so many things that I liked and wanted to purchased but like I said I didn't think it was an exhibit. But any who we were there for business, we started looking for accessories, another designer for our female and one for our male fashion photo shoot for our next issue.
Some of the designers I don't quite remember their names. There was this shoe designer, the shoes were amazing! I totally forgot to get a picture of his products because I was so amazed by them. I am thinking about getting a pair for my birthday or maybe get one just cause.

There was this crystal designs type thing that we thought was so great. They can just take anything and "crystallize" it. Check it out..








I thought that was so cool.

There was this one who had designs for babies & I thought about my baby brother (oh yea I'm going to have a little brother soon)

Oh & this dress I totally fell in love with

So the other day I'm in my desk working, my boss comes and starts telling me about this fashion show that will be going on Monday at Jacob K. Javits Convention Center, telling me that it's suppose to be a whole day thing and she wants to me come with her (Gasps)

Lol. Now I didn't really know what it is about (I still kinda don't) but today she gave me sort of kind of more info and I googled it of course. So it's suppose to be an accessories show I don't know if its also a clothing show but as the description says "There will be over 3,000 diverse line of glamorous accessories". Designers such as Steve Madden, Lucky Brand, DV by Dolce Vita, Soundgirl and many more! I'm just excited! I know there's going to be massages, tea, luncheon and on-going Starbucks coffee and she also told me that last year they were selling things at the end of the show for 30 cents.(Gasps again) Now I am super excited! I promise to take plenty pictures and tell you all about it!
