As we all know ...

The cops from Sean Bell case were acquitted. The detectives were found not guilty of charges of manslaughter, assault and reckless endangerment in the death of Sean Bell 23, and the wounding of two of his friends. It's not like we shouldn't expect this because it's 2008 and racism is still alive and kicking (i.e. Jena 6; Amadou Diallo). An unarmed man gets shot 50 times and you telling us that there was problems found with the prosecution’s case. Judge Arthur Cooperman said some prosecution witnesses contradicted themselves. How crazy is our justice system? And I thought there was only one black guy but there was actually two! They stood there during the press conference this afternoon each coming to the stand and thanking "their Lord and Savior" like this was an award show. This is really sad and painful to see a family suffer like this.

I wonder how these detectives are feeling, living their lives knowing that they killed an young innocent man.

Prayers goes out to the Bell family.
